Mixed Berry Lassi

  Lassi is a yogurt based drink. I've already posted the recipe to make plain lassi. There are different flavored varieties available. Mango Lassi is the usual flavored one available in Indian restaurants. Here I've tried a variety using mixed berries.
 

INGREDIENTS
Plain yogurt - 1 1/2 cups (Sour yogurt would be good, preferably home made)
Vanilla yogurt - 1 small serving cup (Yoplait/ Danon or any other brand)
Mixed berries - 1 1/2 cups (I used frozen. You can substitute with fresh berries)
Rose essence - 2 drops
Sugar - As needed

METHOD
     In a blender, blend the berries together into a fine paste. once its mashed completely, add all the other ingredients (you can also add 2-3 ice cubes if you like) and blend well. Pour equally into tall glasses and you can garnish as you like with fruits or whipped cream. Serve chilled.
